The Larger Issue of Corporate America and Government Destroying Anyone who Dares to go Public with Information of Criminal Wrong Doing

The White House spin machine did its most successful job of defaming and destroying a human being in the way it destroyed Linda Tripp by getting the public to believe Tripp was nothing more than a friend betraying the confidences of another friend, especially a younger girl who trusted her.
  Yeah, like Hitler was merely an ambitious paper hanger who meant no real harm.
  Though I can’t give you here the inside story of what really went on in the White House’s attempt to use Lewinsky to destroy Tripp and keep her from testifying, I can tell you flat out that there was a concerted effort by the White House to make sure Tripp didn’t testify, including a meeting at the White House with Monica Lewinsky in which Monica Lewinsky was given her marching orders as to how they could either bribe Tripp, threaten her, or destroy her if she didn’t cooperate. A central player in this all out attempt to get Tripp to lie in the Paula Jones case was Monica’s mother who offered to pay for all Tripp’s expenses if she would simply leave and go on a vacation so as not to be available to testify ... which is why Lewinsky was so desperate to get immunity for her mother before agreeing to her “whitewashed” testimony.
  The reason Linda Tripp taped Lewinsky? Simple. She’d been there, done that! She was the secretary to Vincent Foster, and the day he died the Secret Service stormed into her office and against her violent objections stole all of Foster’s files, removing everything from his office without any court order or authority of any kind. When Tripp was called to testify before Congress and told the truth of this outrageous theft of the files, she had no proof. It was her word against theirs, and she was crucified for daring to tell the truth about an act that was not only outrageous, but criminal. As a result, the vengeance minded White House banished her to a Siberian-like job in the Pentagon.
  When Lewinsky began to confide in her, and the Paula Jones case broke, Tripp told Lewinsky from painful experience, “keep the dress,” get hard evidence or they will destroy you ... which is exactly what happened. Immediately after the story broke the White House spin machine began a defamation and destruction of Lewinsky that was unprecedented, starting with sending the press up to Oregon to interview a former married man paramour who said Lewinsky was mentally ill. Fortunately for Lewinsky, just as Tripp had advised her, the moment the White House knew she had the blue dress, the White House strategists turned on a dime and began to woo Lewinsky rather than threaten her, leaving Tripp spinning in the wind – except she had learned her lesson in the Foster affair and had protected herself against Monica, who far from being an innocent girl trustingly confiding in an older woman friend, was a ruthless manipulator sent directly by the White House to bring Tripp aboard by hook or crook, including writing out the talking points Tripp was to use.
  If Tripp hadn’t reported those conversations, the truth about what was really going on in the office of the President of the United States would never have been known, and they could have continued to successfully destroy the Gennifer Flowers’, Juanita Brodericks, Kathleen Wileys, and dozens more with the same impunity they had been doing for decades. Make no mistake about the seriousness of the situation, as Monica herself says during one conversation that she is really terrified of these people, even afraid for her life. (We’re just releasing now on video Billy Jack Goes to Washington, a movie that shows that in Washington they do indeed, as one character says, “... kill Presidents here, Billy, they kill men who are running for President here. Lobbyists like Dan? They go one a week ... ”
  The point is simple. Of all the criminal activity committed by the President and his staff, serious crimes that undermine the entire legal fabric of our judicial system, all of them not only walk scott free, but become instant celebrities and make millions of dollars on book deals, and the one person who refused the White House’s request to lie under oath in the Paula Jones case is indicted on two felony counts as phony as the JonBenet Ramsey ransom note. If you know anything about the unconscious, and the Shadow part of the personality, you will see readily that both Bill and Hilary have deep persecution complexes, both see everything in black or white, us or them, you’re either with us or you’re the demon enemy. And their punitive minded psyches live for revenge against their enemies, or perceived enemies. Linda Tripp is just the latest victim of this need to punish anyone who dares stand in their way.
  Has America come to this? Yes indeed! As any whistleblower in a corporation who knew there was flagrant illegal activity going on in that corporation and dared to reveal it can tell you. The corporation spends millions of dollars to destroy the credibility of that person whether it be in the tobacco industry, the nuclear industry, the manufacturing of military airplane industry – everywhere. In fact, if an airplane crashes and kills 200 people, and the victims’ families dare to sue, within days investigators will pour over every nook and cranny of the victims’ families lives, including going door to door in their neighborhood, to not only find any kind of information whatsoever that they could use to discredit or destroy the plaintiffs’ either at trial or to keep them from going to trial, they will also plant seeds of derogatory information and rumors with neighbors and employees to destroy the families and make it too painful to sue.
  Tripp is just the latest example of how the members of the plutocracy that now rule America destroy anyone who dares speak out to right a wrong or is naive enough to believe that honesty, fairness, and the rule of law still apply equally to everyone in this country ... not to mention the rule of public opinion.

The Real Villains in the Handicapped Parking Space Scandal

“Jerk is too kind a word to put on it ...” said the attractive UCLA co-ed. She was speaking of Cade McNown’s latest behavior. Forget some – not all – of the UCLA Bruins that appeared in court and afterwards stiffly read a statement prepared by a PR writer. Forget that only one or two of them spoke spontaneously from the heart and in a show of class went over to the disabled protestors in wheelchairs and begged their forgiveness. Forget the hypocrisy of the Chancellor saying he had no knowledge of any ringleader, even though it was right there in the police report. Forget the Dean of Students whitewashed this mess as nothing more than a “parking violation.” Forget all of the student participants in minor sports, cross country, wrestling, etc. who are serious students taking hard, real courses, and yet not only earn their degrees in good time, but display the fine character that competition sports are supposed to build ... and who don’t park in handicapped people’s places. Forget all of that for a moment and focus on the “jerk” Cade McNown.
  After continuing to exhibit his delusion of grandeur about himself as someone totally superior to normal human beings and above the laws that govern us peons, after further exhibiting his moral cowardice by failing to take responsibility for a lousy cheap stunt, but instead attacks the media for falsely defaming him, Cade shows his true nature and complete lack of character by driving up in the parking lot of the Chicago Bears Training Camp the day after all the publicity, including his failure to show, and with all the media waiting, parks where? You guessed it -- in a handicapped parking place on the Wisconsin campus the Bears are training at -- clearly giving the bird who dares suggest that he not be allowed to do whatever he damn pleases, whenever he pleases. Bear authorities dismissed it by saying “he’s got a gutty attitude – exactly the attitude the Bears football team needs.”
  Mark it down. If you know anything about the Shadow and Persona, this Persona macho attitude is always a cover-up for a deep underlying feeling of inferiority and insecurity. It is the mark of a weak ego trying to pretend it’s super-tough, and underneath it doesn’t have the substance to either be a real leader or to endure real adversity, the harsh realities of real life that mommy and daddy and the coaches can’t protect you from. Last year this same personality characteristic was seen in what the San Diego Chargers honestly believed was their new quarterback Messiah, Brian Leaf. But when the going got really tough, Brian’s unconscious side revealed itself and he was a major flop. Cade McNown will go the same way. At least Hingis didn’t give disabled people the shaft, and then afterwards be incapable of seeing that there was anything wrong with it.
  Compared to the Tripp issues involving the ability of the White House to totally paralyze the Constitution and our judicial process, this parking space issue is small potatoes. Its only value is that it continues to show the narcissistic “me, me, me” self-centered attitude of say anything and do anything however immoral and illegal as long as I get mine. It shows that instead of character and sportsmanship being a way of life for our youngest and finest role models, our athletes, the “anything goes” mentality, like a metasticized cancer has spread everywhere in our society, including the coaching staff and administration of UCLA who will do anything and condone anything their money-making athletes do so long as it keeps those big TV dollars coming in.
  But the real villains in this piece are not the UCLA athletes or officials. They are the hundreds of thousands of healthy able bodied people who illegally park in handicap places all across America every day, and the equally large number of “cheats,” petty, mean-spirited people who lie to their doctor and get a handicap parking pass they don’t need, and they know they don’t need. All because they too feel they are privileged elite specimens that the rules that govern the rest of us don’t apply to. And like the UCLA athletes, they have no conscience about what they are doing. It not only doesn’t bother them, they think it’s a mark of how clever they are. They brag about it to friends and even urge friends to do the same because it’s “so easy.”
  Remember the Frank Sinatra song “... that’s America to me.”? Are these “cheats,” these lying hypocrites, whether they be UCLA football players and officials, or the hundreds of thousands parking their Cadillacs and Lexuses in places reserved for those who life has really dealt a tough blow, are these what America has become? Is this the new “America to me?” Frank must be turning over in his grave. I would be, and I’m not dead yet.

People Die while the Democrats and Republicans “Fiddle” with their Lives
Since when did America get divided into two good ol’ boys clubs, two fraternities, that alone are given a license to steal hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign contributions while fiddling with our lives? Instead of passing bills that have a direct and immediate impact upon the lives of thousands of Americans, even millions of Americans, they simply play the game of posturing called “pass and veto” so as to have an issue to campaign on in the 2000 election. HMOs need immediate drastic fundamental reform to save thousands or lives that are now lost because of the way they refuse to give adequate health care in order to cut costs and generate more profits. Does Washington do anything about it? Absolutely not! Nor do they intend to. The game is for the Republicans to pass a bill they know the Democrats don’t want so the President will veto it, and then both sides will go out on the campaign trail and blame the other, pitching that if you’ll only elect more of our party we’ll really do something that will help you, the people. Health care reform, gun control, tax cuts, to name a few, are just some of the important issues effecting our lives that this Congress and White House have absolutely no intention of passing before November of the year 2000. After all, when you’ve got the incredible health care benefits Congress and the White House has, why should you worry about the almost 100 million Americans who have either no health care, inadequate health care, or are in HMOs where they could have good health care but the bean counters won’t give it to them.
  I hate to say it, but the same “don’t give a damn for anybody but me” attitude expressed in the UCLA football players expresses itself in our Congress and White House and instead of hurting only disabled people, which is despicable enough, it now seriously hurts millions of American families. This is what we’ve become. This is America to me -- and I want to change it back – FAST!
