A Personal Statement from Tom and Delores
on why they disdain both Parties, where they stand politically and why they are taking such an enormous risk
“America became the greatest nation on earth because it is the only nation formed for a Moral Purpose – the Rights of Man – Every man, Everywhere.
“America is first and foremost an Ideology ~ an Ideology whose National Purpose is to be a government of the People, by the People, and for the People.
“Now America has lost Its Moral Purpose and at a time terrorists will soon have nuclear weapons in suitcases to set off in our subways and nuclear plants – has become, all over the world, the most hated nation on earth – causing the number of suicide bombers and terrorists willing to die to kill Americans to quantumly escalate every day.
“It is up to us - we, the people, the voters - to restore America to Her Moral Purpose and Greatness.
“Everything in the Political Section of this website is devoted to that end.”
Where do Delores and Tom, who believe both Parties and the Congress are so systemically corrupt they cannot function or represent the people anymore, stand politically, and why have they decided to risk everything including the Billy Jack franchise, the most valuable franchise not owned by a major studio with their new, radically different Billy Jack film. Tom introduces their new rebuilt very unusual website explaining the variety of different subjects and “home pages” on it, their hiatus and more.

“Consciousness is always good. Unconsciousness, ignorance, being kept in the dark, is always bad. Consciousness can only heal and strengthen.” - Tom Laughlin
· Make America free from all Middle Eastern oil and have gas be less than $1 a gallon in 2-3 years. Impossible? Absurd? See the overwhelming evidence from the Heads of General Motors, Ford Brazil, even Wal-Mart that proves it is not only realistic, but available to implement on a national scale right now. The most powerful single step to protect Americans, win the war on terror, and have gas be less than $1 a gallon is to be free of Middle Eastern oil and get out of Iraq. (Click here for video #1)
· What defines a true American?
“I detest what you say, but I defend to the death your right to say it.” - Patrick Henry
America is not just having Freedom of Speech and the Right to Dissent, for other nations have that. The ultimate test of being an American is not just the willingness, but the obligation, the sacred responsibility, to defend to the death your neighbor’s – even your enemy’s – right to speak and dissent, even if it repulses you. This is what makes America the greatest nation ever to exist on this earth. (click here)
A democracy without dissent, without open, aggressive criticism and opposing dialogue, is not a democracy - it is an Autocracy – another form of Totalitarianism.
· Bush’s subtle, sophisticated new American Totalitarianism
“… Some Republican leaders pose a direct threat to our Constitutional freedoms … it doesn’t help when a high profile Senator suggests there might be a connection between violence against judges and the decisions the Senator disagrees with … it takes a lot of degeneration before a country falls into a dictatorship, but we must avoid these ends by avoiding these beginnings.”
-- Ret. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, criticizing Republicans who challenge the independence of judges and the freedoms of all Americans
Totalitarianism, dictatorships begin by taking total control of the government, first of the Executive Branch (which Bush has done), next the Legislative Branch, Congress (which Bush has done), and third, the coup-de-gras, the Courts and Supreme Court (which Bush has done), because the Courts are the last possible way for the people to exercise freedom of dissent and fight for their rights and the Constitution which is every day being more aggressively dismantled.
Almost 500 people imprisoned and many tortured at Guantanamo without representation or being able to contact the outside world (only 14 have ever been charged); the torture chambers of Abu Ghraib and other prisons; the kidnapping of people all over the world and placing them in secret black hole prisons to be tortured in foreign countries (just like Hussein); the illegal wiretapping of Americans on international calls; followed by their illegal spying on every American’s domestic calls – and the list goes on and on. Every week it gets worse.
On May 31, 2006, the latest 5:4 decision by Bush’s packed Supreme Court taking away the 1st Amendment right of free speech by public employee whistleblowers, followed by on June 2, 2006 Attorney General Gonzalez and FBI Director Mueller’s demand that the big Internet companies turn over detailed records of all US customers’ online activities so they can track what people do online and with whom they communicate, and to keep those records for two years instead of a few days or weeks. Always the pretense is it’s necessary for the war on terror, but it does nothing for the war on terror but increases the hatred of terrorists and the entire world
America is no longer a Democracy. America has become a sophisticated form of Totalitarianism – the dictatorship Justice O’Connor was warning us about.
While Communism is the control of business by government, Fascism is the control of the government by business ...
... which America, the White House and Congress have now become.
Fas-cism / fash’ izem / n. 1. extreme totalitarian right-wing nationalist movement; 2. a person who is dictatorial or has extreme right-wing views; 3. a totalitarian governmental system emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and militarism
“Fascism (Totalitarianism) will come to America wrapped in the American flag.” - Earl Long
